The Grand Canyon, so full of history, hidden wonders and indescribable beauty. A place so full of life and at the same time a place where human life is lost every year. Almost 5 million people visit the Grand Canyon every year. The majority of people take a 5 second glance from vista to vista. Many will take the mule trip to Indian Garden or Phantom Ranch. Still others will brave the heat and hike to Indian Garden or Bright Angel Campground and spend a night or two. Or perhaps you are one of those that have fallen in love with the Grand Canyon and continue to hike deeper and deeper into the canyon's many mysteries. My wife and I fall into the latter of these category.

We have been traveling to the Grand Canyon since the late 1970's. For years we would peer over the edge, and like many, spend our five seconds at every vista point. Five years ago I took my first hike down into the Grand Canyon, I was hooked. I could no longer just look over the edge. I had to see for myself what wonders each and every trail held. I also wanted to find a way to share these great adventures with those that could not hike do to health, time, or they were just getting on the tired side of life. We started filming the trails as we were hiking. We can now share the beauty and mysteries of the Grand Canyon with you in a wonderful moving DVD slideshow format.

My wife has started hiking with me, and in the last few years we have hiked over 275 miles below the canyons rim. We have filmed the following trails. The Bright Angel, South Kaibab, North Kaibab, Hermit, Clear Creek, Tonto and Rim to Rim. We have just finished our "South Rim Vista" DVD and currently we are working on our "Native American Ruins" DVD.

Now for those of you who want to see the sites of the inner canyon but are not able to hike, you will be able to take a virtual hike of the trails with breath-taking photos. You will not believe the hidden beauty that is found deep in the inner canyon. For those who are ready for the challenge to hike the inner canyon, this DVD will show you the condition of the trails and what to expect.

Every time we have hiked the Grand Canyon, we have seen injury or death on the inner trails. The inner canyon shows very little mercy to those hiking it's trail. We were leaving Bright Angel Campground and hiking on the Clear Creek trail in May of 2009. From 1000 feet above the Colorado River, we watched as three young men tried to swim across the river 300 width. All three drowned. We hope through these videos you will not only see the beauty of the canyon, but the risk that await you.

So if you are looking to hike the trail, if you need a record of the trails you have hiked, or if you cannot hike the trails and want to see what the trails of the Grand Canyon are like, this DVD is for you.
